Here is a simple recipe for an Oreo cake:
Ingredients:
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and melted butter until the mixture is well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a separate medium-sized bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and beat until well combined.
- In a separate small bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust in the springform pan. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
